Dan Flynn

Dan Flynn is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and Registered Nurse in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Working in the Public Safety profession since 2001, Dan has held positions including Firefighter, Paramedic and Field Training Officer.

Dan has been a Registered Nurse since 2014 and works in that capacity in the Emergency Department at Touro Infirmary in Uptown New Orleans and specializes in Vascular Access. He received his Paramedic certification through the National EMS Academy in 2005, his BS degree in 2010 from Southeastern Louisiana University and his Bachelors of Nursing in 2014 from Our Lady of the Lake College of Nursing.

Dan holds multiple certifications including NRP, ACLS, PALS, PICC and HAZMAT Technician. He is a member of NAEMT and the Emergency Nursing Association and his career achievements include working as a Paramedic/Firefighter during and following Hurricane Katrina. Dan is an Analyst on A&E’s “Live Rescue,” and was featured on the A&E documentary series “Nightwatch” and the A&E digital series, “First Responders.” Dan is happily married to His wife Heather and resides in Louisiana.
