George Olivo
Retired FBI Special Agent George Olivo is a Southern California native, bilingual, first-generation American, and military veteran. After his Marine Corps service in 1990, he ran a successful business in Los Angeles, serving mostly the Hispanic community. In 1998, George answered the call to public service by becoming a Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the premier law enforcement agency in the world.
His decision to leave a successful family business was rooted in a deep desire to make a difference, not only for his community, but for his country. In 22 years as a Special Agent for the FBI, George conducted a wide variety of complex Criminal investigations and managed sensitive National Security operations involving high-valued targets around the globe. In 2012, George Olivo became an FBI-certified Polygraph Examiner. He was later promoted to Senior Polygraph Examiner for the Los Angeles Division, managing the Polygraph program for the second largest office of the FBI.
George has conducted thousands of polygraph examinations for the FBI, gaining the trust and respect of the law enforcement community. By means of the polygraph, he has helped resolve issues involving Bank Robbery, Homicide, Missing Persons, Crimes Against Children, Major Theft, Public Corruption, Fraud, Extortion, and more.
Throughout his career, George Olivo was also called upon to conduct many high-stakes polygraph examinations involving Espionage and Terrorism, where finding the truth means protecting National Security. As an expert authority in vetting Human Sources and screening potential candidates for FBI employment, Olivo was often referred to by his colleagues as “the Gatekeeper.”
