Zoey Taylor from Hero Ink on A&E

Zoey

Zoey Taylor began cultivating her artistic skills at a young age when she used drawing as a creative outlet during her unconventional childhood in the Oregon woods. Forced to sketch by candlelight, Taylor was homeschooled in a cabin without electricity, along with her four siblings. Completely isolated from anything that could connect her with the outside world, Taylor did not have much, but she always had her love of art.

Zoey fell in love with tattooing at the age of eighteen when she picked up a machine for the first time and tattooed her brother and brother-in-law in her living room. Determined to advance her skills, Taylor packed her bags and brought her talents to Hollywood, where she worked at a tattoo shop on Hollywood Boulevard. Zoey literally owes her life to the law enforcement agents who saw her through the process of getting out of her abusive home and putting her stepfather in prison.
